हे री मैं तो प्रेम दिवानी (He ri mai to prem diwani)

हे री मैं तो प्रेम दिवानी, मेरा दरद न जाने कोय।

He ri main to prem diwani, mera darad na jaane koi.

I am so mad in love, no one knows my pain.

सूली ऊपर सेज हमारी, किस बिध सोना होय।

Suli upar sej hamari, kis bidh sona hoi.

How can I sleep when my bed is crucified.

गगन मंडल पर सेज पिया की, किस बिध मिलना होय॥

Gagan mandal par sej piya ki, kis bidh milna hoi.

When my partner's bed is in the heaven, how could I meet him even!

घायल की गति घायल जानै, कि जिन लागी होय।

Ghayal ki gati ghayal jaanei, ki jin laagi hoi.

One who is wounded alone knows the pain of those with wounds.

जौहरी की गति जौहरी जाने, कि जिन लागी होय॥

Jauhri ki gati jauhri jaane, ki jin laagi hoi.

Only a jeweler can understand another jeweler.

दरद की मारी बन बन डोलूँ वैद मिल्यो नहीं कोय।

Darad ki maari ban ban dolun vaid milyo nhi koi.

I am wandering from forest to forest with the pain but there's no one to heal me.

मीरां की प्रभु पीर मिटै जब वैद सांवलया होय॥

Meera ki prabhu peer mitai jab vaid sanwalia hoy.

The poetess, Meera says to Lord (Krishn) that her pain can only be removed when the healer is Sanwalia (Krishn) himself.
